PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the influence of vibration such as a camera shake with a simple structure suitable for the miniaturization and the lightening of weight, regarding a photographing apparatus equipped with a photographing optical system and an imaging element, for forming an image signal by catching object light transmitted through the photographing optical system with the imaging element. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus is provided with a stopper 190 and an electromagnet 200 for immovably fixing a lens barrel 150 for holding both of the photographing optical system and the imaging element to a supporting member 180, and also, for releasing the lens barrel 150 from the supporting member 180 so that the barrel 150 may freely slide in synchronism with photographing.
