PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defective display and malfunctions of a display device caused by peeling of plating in a screw hole and becoming dust when a screw is tightened, by avoiding spread of the plating over the screw hole when plating is applied to a holder formed of resin mold. SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with a display panel and the holder which holds the display panel, wherein the holder is formed of resin mold in which an inserter having the screw hole on which screw grooves are formed is embedded, the plating is applied to the surface of the resin mold and the inserter is formed of a material to which the plating does not adhere.
