PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a structure of a side wall to reduce thermal loss and to improve hot and cold insulating performance in a cold/hot storage showcase provided with double glass side walls on a case main body. SOLUTION: This cold/hot storage showcase has a HOT chamber and a COLD chamber defined by dividing the inside of the case main body 1 into upper and lower rooms, and is provided with side walls 4 composed of the double glass formed by sealing the air between inner and outer glass plates 4a, 4b on left and right end faces of the case main body. An intermediate partitioning spacer 4f is mounted inside of the double glass side wall corresponding to a position of a partitioning shelf 5 inside, to partition the HOT chamber and the COLD chamber of the case main body, and the sealed air layer is divided into areas corresponding to the HOT chamber and the COLD chamber to prevent the generation of heat convection of sealed air. Further a heat ray reflection film 12 is attached to the inner glass plate 4a of the double glass side wall to improve the heat insulation of the side wall. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
