PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathing board for closing a seawater inflow hole of a sea chest of a vessel provided with a ballast tank (seawater tank) to safely and quickly perform a work and to prevent separation and washout of the sheathing board. SOLUTION: In a sheathing board main body 10, an elastic packing 15, a second reinforcing plate 14 made of wood, etc., an intermediate plate 13 made of aluminum, etc., a first reinforcing plate 12 made of wood, etc., and a surface plate 11 made of aluminum, etc. are laminated in this order successively from a hull side to be mutually fixed with fixing screws 17 at four corners. A fixing bolt 20 provided with a hook engaged to an edge bar of a foreign matter preventing window 3 passes through a through hole at the center of the sheathing board main body 10 to fix the sheathing board main body 10 to the hull by being screwed onto the fixing nut 30 from the outside.
