PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration sensor mounting structure capable of compatibly realizing the early collision detection and the operational reliability of an acceleration sensor, and high in collision detection capacity. SOLUTION: A mounting structure 1 of an acceleration sensor 2a arranged between a cabin inner panel 70a and a cabin outer panel 71a comprises the acceleration sensor 2a, a mounting bracket which is fixed to the cabin inner panel 70a to support the acceleration sensor 2a in a projecting manner from the cabin inner panel 70a in the outward direction of the cabin, and a sensor protective means 60 to protect the acceleration sensor 2a from an impact from the outside of the cabin.
