PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire/wheel assembly capable of preventing a rim from being detached without damaging a tire even when a vehicle runs on an uneven road surface or a corner road surface under a highly loaded condition. SOLUTION: In the assembly in which a reinforced rubber layer 3 is provided inside a side wall part 2, and a run-flat tire T is rim-assembled while forming a rim guard 5 protruded outwardly in the tire width direction corresponding to an upper portion of a rim flange Ra of a bead part 4, the radius Rrg of curvature of the rim guard 5 in the section in the tire axial direction of an inner circumferential surface 5a of the guard facing the rim flange Ra is smaller than the radius Rf of curvature of the rim flange Ra, or gradually reduced from the inner side to the outer side in the tire axial direction, and further smaller than the radius Rf of curvature of the rim flange Ra at the outermost end RG. The outermost end RG of the inner circumferential surface 5a of the guard is located on the outer side in the tire axial direction than a tip F of the rim flange Ra when the tire is filled at the maximum service air pressure. The maximum value dmax of the space in the tire radial direction between the outermost end RG of the inner circumferential surface 5a of the guard and the tip F of the rim flange Ra is 2-4 mm, and the space d in the tire axial direction is smaller than the maximum value dmax.
