PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure of a die casting apparatus with which a prescribed degree of vacuum can be kept, even if an especial seal is not applied to a slide core, in the case of performing a vacuum die casting with die structure using the slide cored together. SOLUTION: A fixed die 4 to which a sealing material 7 is attached so as to surround a product-shape part space R, and movable die 5 and the slide core 8 are covered with a first cover 11 and a second cover in a closed-loop state, respectively. Both covers 11, 12 are butted to each other at the die clamping, and the close space C is formed of both covers 11, 12 at the periphery of the die 1 containing the slide core 8. The product-shape part space R is evacuated as before, while the closed space C at the periphery of the die 1 is also evacuated through piping 17. Even if the seal is not applied to the slide core 8, the prescribed degree of vacuum in the product-shape part space R can be kept because of balance of the pressure in the product-shape part space R and the closed space C.
