A structure comprises at least one edge bearer (2) having a curved guide formation (7) and a panel (1), deformable from a flat surface to a curved surface, where the curve corresponds to the curve of the edge bearer. Preferably each structure has two opposing edge bearers, each having a channel as the guide formation. The panel may be in the form of a plurality of overlapping slats (5) held together by tapes (6) which run near the longitudinal edges (3). In a preferred embodiment the structure is wooden and two panels are joined at their edges and form a roof for a garden structure such as an arch (Figure 5). |
