The protection is against falling when climbing a vertical object, such as a telephone pole or an electricity pylon, even when a static rope is used as coupling line. It comprises a bar (5), which at one end is formed as a suspension eyelet (3) and a component (1) for fastening to the vertical object. The bar at the other end has a bent end part, which is fastened in a cavity of the component, so that the bar, under a predetermined loading, can turn, or be bent. |
