The invention concerns a device for locking a link rod (2) in a bone anchoring element (3) of a spinal implant (4) comprising a bone anchoring element (3) including retaining means (14, 15) capable of being elastically deformed under the effect of a thrusting force (F) and a locking element (5) including pins (33, 34) co-operating with the retaining means (14, 15) to enable the locking element (5) to be fixed on the bone anchoring element (3) and a clamping screw (31) for locking in rotation and in translation the link rod (2) between the bone anchoring element (3) and the locking element (5).
