A method and a device for cutting glass fibres or other fibres, such as carbon fibres, into pieces, wherein a fibre is carried into the pinch between two mating knife rollers whose knives alternately press against an alternating side of the fibre, and wherein the fibre is held in place by clamping ribs provided beside the knives on the two rollers. |
