<p>PURPOSE: A method for separating and extracting a magnetic paint and a base film from a magnetic tape is provided, to improve the quality of a recycled film by preventing the deterioration of a base film and to reduce the power consumption by extracting a magnetic paint without heating of a reaction solution. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of cutting the waste magnetic tape thinly; stirring the cut waste magnetic tape with a reaction solution a reaction tank(6) to separate it into a magnetic paint and a base film; collecting the magnetic tape in a magnetic paint collection tank(9) through a filter press(8); and extruding the base film into a pellet at an extruder(20) after passing it through first and second dehydrator(12, 14) and a drier(19), wherein the reaction solution comprises sodium hydroxide and methanol or ethanol and prevents the deterioration of the base film by inhibiting the hydrolysis of an alkali aqueous solution. A mixing and dispersing device(6c) equipped with a plurality of elements is set in the reaction tank(6) to allow the folded waste magnetic tape to be unfolded when it passes through the device for allowing the waste magnetic tape to be mixed with the reaction solution very well.</p> |
