SOOTHING AGENT AND FOOD FOR TREATING FATIGUE

It is intended to provide a soothing agent and a food for treating fatigue by which physical strength can be quickly restored from exhaustion (i.e., the sate with lowered spontaneous motility), for example, after having exercises or exhausting labors or immediately after waking in early morning, decline of physical strength can be prevented and physical strength can be maintained. Namely, a soothing agent or a revitalizing agent which contains a peptide which is a protein decomposition product obtained by decomposing a protein-containing material with thiol protease originating in sprouting soybean cotyledon and/or serine protease originating in a microorganism.
