A protective device for dispensing metered amounts of pasty or creamy substances, characterised in that it consists of a plate or seal having a variable shape, size and thickness and comprising diametrically opposite notches provided around the edge thereof and having a variable size and shape, as well as symmetrical notches; and a container with a shape and size matching those of the seal and comprising rails provided around the inside container edge and having a shape and size matching those of the notches in the seal for which they act as a guide every time the seal is forced inwards by pressure exerted in order to release uniform amounts of the substance through the notches.
