Engine (100) comprises at least one cylinder (11c) and fuel piezoinjector (120) into cylinder combustion chamber (112). Piezo-injector is activated by application of charge voltage (U) with variable adjustment of gradient at injector actor.Adjustment of voltage gradient by control unit is so controlled that fuel injection starts at preset reference point, representing preset crankshaft angle of piston (115) in cylinder for engine emission reduction. Independent claims are included for computer program as data carrier, control unit and combustion engine.
