A process for converting wind power into electrical energy comprises using the kinetic energy of upwind (9) and downwind (10) blowing along hill and mountain side slopes (1) to give electricity. Process the wind is channeled through a turbine (4) and produces electricity by means of a generator (6). An independent claim is also included for a unit for the above process.
