The tensioning roller (1) for a belt drive consisting of a hub (2) and outer ring (3) is joined to a wheel disc (4) and to radial ridges (7) on both sides of the wheel disc. The ridges on one side of the wheel disc, in relation to the ridges (7') on the other side, are staggered in position by half the angular pitch of the ridges, in relation to the center point of the tensioning roller. The consecutive ridges on each of the two sides of the wheel disc include the same angular pitch of the ridges. The axial breadth of the ridges is constant. |
