A tapered roller bearing where rolling surfaces of tapered rollers and raceway surfaces of inner and outer rings are crowned and the amount of the total crowning and the amount of crowning on each of the raceway surfaces and rolling surfaces are suitably specified. As a result, rolling friction between the inner and outer rings and the tapered rollers is reduced and rotational torque of the tapered roller bearing is reduced.
