The invention relates to a human being necessity of life, to brushing articles, more specifically to electromechanical toothbrushes. The aim of said invention is to develop an electromechanical toothbrush which makes it possible to improve a toothbrushing quality, reduce a tooth enamel erosion and gingival injury by means of a reciprocating motion of drive axes which are provided with cleaning brushes. For this purpose, the inventive electromechanical toothbrush comprises a handle provided with an electric actuator arranged therein and a working part consisting of two oppositely rotatable parallel drive axes and cleaning elements which are embodied in the form of two brushes and mounted on the ends of said parallel drive axes. Said toothbrush is provided with a soft protective visor which covers the cleaning elements on the external and lateral sides thereof, the parallel drive axes being mounted in such a way that they are enabled to carry out a longitudinal reciprocating motion.
