SHEAR CRUSHER AND CRUSHING METHOD

Two rotary shafts (2, 3) for supporting a cutter laterally in a crusher body (1) are provided in parallel, and cutters (7) each provided with a plurality of projecting cutting parts on the outer circumference thereof are arranged in the axial direction of these two rotary shafts (2, 3) such that the cutting parts mesh each other. An opening (9) for charging an article to be crushed (320) is made in the upper part of the crusher body (1) at one axial end part of the rotary shaft and an opening (10) for discharging the article to be crushed (320) is made in the lower part of the crusher body (1) at the other axial end part of the rotary shaft. The article to be crushed (320) is crushed a plurality of times in the crusher body (1) by providing a lateral feed member (14) for feeding the article to be crushed (320), charged in via the opening (9) and crushed by means of the cutters (7), to the discharge opening (310) side.
