Continuous production of carbon profiles, using steps of mixing dry carbon components and additives with carbohydrate binder, continuous roller compacting of carbon material

Continuous production of carbon components starts with mixing dry carbon constituents and additives with carbohydrate containing binder. Original profiles are burned and possibly graphited and resulting carbon profiles are processed. After mixing, but before burning, compacted profile (1) is continuously formed by roller compacting from unburnt material. Preferably loose, corny mixture (3) from secondary grinding is used. Independent claims are included for carbon profile.
