摘要 <p>Process for regulating boost pressure in an internal combustion engine with two-stage exhaust gas turbocharging uses a first and a second turbocharger whose compression power can be adjusted in each case by an actuator. Pilot control values (28, 29) for the actuator are calculated according to a nominal charging pressure value (PUTSP). A control correction value (30) for correcting the pilot control values of both actuators is calculated in a common controller according to the control difference from the actual charging pressure value (PUT) and the nominal charging pressure value. Corrected control values (48, 58) for controlling the actuators are calculated from the pilot control values and the control correction value in a coordination unit (26). An independent claim is also included for a device used for regulating boost pressure in an internal combustion engine with two-stage exhaust gas turbocharging.</p>
