<p>A safety instrument for an injection needle, with which instrument an injection needle can be reliably inserted into a protective cap only with the hand holding an injector. The safety instrument for an injection needle has a protective cap (20) having a claw section (23), engaging with a flange (32) of an injection needle (31), near an opening section; a flat case body (10) for receiving and holding protective caps (20); and an adhesive layer on a bottom plate (12) of the case body (10). A double-faced adhesive tape with release paper can be used as the adhesive layer. The case body (10) is fixed by the adhesive layer to a desired place beside a patient receiving injection. After the injection, an injection needle (31) is withdrawn from an affected part, inserted straight into the protective cap (20), and then withdrawn from the case body (10), causing the protective cap (20) to cover the injection needle (31). As a result, danger of the needle pricking the other hand is eliminated and blood stanching etc. after the injection needle is withdrawn can be done with the other hand.</p> |
