Gaps between articles of laundry (34, 36) being passed between two automated laundry processing stations (12, 14) are reduced. By sensing (24) a gap and accelerating an upstream conveyor (16), gaps between articles of laundry passed between stations are reduced. A reduction in gaps provides for more efficient and quicker processing of articles of laundry. |
