A spiral reinforced hose, wherein a plurality of drawn monofilaments (2) are arranged parallel with each other in the axial direction of the hose and spirally wound at equal pitches, whereby since pitches (S) between the drawn monofilaments (2) and (2) are narrowed, even if the wire diameters of the filaments are reduced, pressure resistance at these reduced portions is not lowered. Accordingly, the drawn monofilaments with small wire diameters can be used. The use of the drawn monofilaments with small wire diameters is allowed.
