The subject of the invention is a hydraulic arrangement of devices for the controlling of valves belonging to a combustion engine. In this arrangement, a device has a cam end piston (1) and a valve end piston (4). Between these pistons there is a cylinder space (22a) which has transmitting fluid. When the control valve (10) is closed, the valve end piston (4) and the motion resistant part of the piston that surrounds (28) the piston (4) stays in its place because the transmitting fluid is prevented from returning to the accumulating container (16) from the fluid retentive chamber (23) by means of the said control valve (10) and a non-return valve (17). Now the time that the valve (100c) can be open is lengthened at the end since the motor's exhaust valve or intake valve(100c) can close only after the edge of the piston (1, 64) passes an opening (6,98) in the channel for the transmitting fluid (5). Then the named retention chamber (23) becomes empty. In the system (96) the notch (97) in a portion of the cam end piston (ld) controls the closure of the valve (100c). While the cam end piston (1) is moving away, it shuts the initial discharge channel (12). The timing of the valve's (100) opening can be adjusted by a control valve (11). The pressure strokes of oil have been minimized by a damping system (46*), for example, and by the damping property of a spray nozzle (170) of pistons (150) that move in the combustion cylinders (236*). The closing pace of the valve (100c) is regulated by an adjusting screw (43) or an adjusting plate (93), and technical ceramics, for example, are used for the materials of pistons (1) and (4).
