<p>The turbofan has a fan mounted on upstream of a compressor and driven in rotation by a turbine A rigid cylindrical envelop (10) has upstream and downstream ends (19, 26) fixed on intermediate and exhaust cases, respectively. The envelope assures transmission of force between the intermediate and exhaust cases. The end (26) has foil flaps (27) which hinder air flow towards the downstream and break the thrust provided by the fan.</p> |
