Method and device for producing concrete blocks

The method involves moving a concrete mortar across a mould (7) by a filling carriage (4) to fill the mould with the mortar. The carriage is returned and the mortar is compacted by a movable plunger. The plunger is moved via synchronized motors to measure exerted torques. Filling operation of the mould is corrected based on deviation of actual values, derived from the difference in the torques, from preset desired values. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for producing concrete blocks.
