An electrophotographic photoreceptor (1) including a cylindrical substrate (2) including a photosensitive layer on an outer circumferential surface thereof; and a flange (3)adhesively fixed to each of both ends of the cylindrical substrate, wherein the flange (3) has a joint (5) with which a separation jig (4) is engageable to apply a tensile load in a direction of separating the flange (3) from the cylindrical substrate (2). Upon application of pressure an elastic body is contacted with the cylindrical substrate (2) to grasp it in a jig, so that both flange and drum may be reused as they are.
