<p>The prosthetic knee joint socket (5) is installed on top of the tibia to provide an articulation for a femur joint. The tibia joint has joint articulation surfaces (2), separated by a ridge and with their edges (4) surrounded by a ridge (1) to prevent escape of the double femur joint. The articulation surface on the medial side (medial) of the joint is concave in the front to rear direction and the articulation surface on the lateral side (lateral) of the joint is convex.</p> |
