A recording-tape cartridge including a case accommodating a reel; a mounting portion formed at the case, at which guide-wall portions and locking members capable of positioning at vertical-movement-locking-position and vertical-movement-allowing-position are provided; a switching member for switching the locking members between the vertical-movement-locking-position and the vertical-movement-allowing-position, guide portions inserted between the guide wall portions to guide the switching member; an urging-member; and a disengagement-prevention-member, in which draft angles of the guide portions and the guide-wall portions ‰¥ 0.5º, respectively, and at the vertical movement-allowing position, a clearance between a tip outside-surface of the guide portion and an inside-surface of the guide wall portion ‰¥ a clearance between a tip inside-surface of the guide wall portion and the outside-surface of the guide portion, and the maximum clearance is set between 0.05-0.3 mm, the locking members contacting the switching member only in the reel-radial direction by the urging-member, is provided.
