The message signature verification technique has a unit (11) storing messages. following storage, the signature and certificate are loaded to a secure unit (21). The public key is verified, and the confidence level established. The output is sent directly to a printer display (31) , and the digital words are verified (30) in the display unit. Whilst verification is taking place the secure unit calculates the algorithm keys and carries out decyphering and comparisons. Depending on the result, the message is confirmed as valid or not. |
