<p>The present invention provides an indoor unit of an air conditioner in which a heat exchanger can be easily installed and a method of assembling an indoor unit of an air conditioner. The indoor unit (2) of the air conditioner includes a cross flow fan (71), an indoor heat exchanger (50), and a lower casing (70). The indoor heat exchanger (50) has an approximate inverted V-shape in cross-section, auxiliary lines in which refrigerant flows that are connected thereto, and is disposed so as to cover the upper portion of the cross flow fan (71).
