<p>The drive head (12) and axis (16) are made as a single piece. The lower section (15) is secured in the head section (12), or vice versa. The outer section (12 or 15) is reinforced (26) externally with a less resilient material. Head and lower section are detachable and the lower section is replaceable. They are alternatively permanently-connected. The bond between them is chemical, thermoplastic or mechanical. The lower diameter of the head exceeds that of the thread spool (21), for insertion into the head section. The material of the head and axis, is or includes, a roller-bearing steel. The head is supported in two bearings (13), with motor drive before, between or after them. Bearing construction is further detailed. The lower section (15) is at first cylindrical or slightly conical, and continues conically, in the thread direction. The thread guide of the sleeve is replaceable. The shape of the lower section is dependent on the structure of the material to be spun and/or of the spinning machine design. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method of making the balloon constriction sleeve.</p> |
