The invention relates to the field of guiding of a light beam in a light conducting medium, and, in particular, to a structure, within a light conducting medium, which lead the light beam along a predetermined path. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises an instrument (40) adapted for the alignment with a light beam (43), having a point of entry of the light beam, a light conducting channel and a sensing element (25) of an instrument (40) located at a certain distance from the point of entry of the light beam (66). The sensing element (25) serves to provide indication of alignment between the instrument (40) and the light beam (66). The light beam (66) travels inside the instrument (40), along the channel, to the sensing element (25). The light guiding devices are located inside the instrument (40), the wall of the device blocks non-aligned light beams, preventing them from reaching the sensing element (25), while allowing the aligned light beams to propagate through the guiding passage inside the instrument (40) to the sensing element (25). |
