<p>The invention relates to a process and a device for accelerating the electroerosion process, when working with wire electrode. According to the invention, the process provides for the acceleration of electroerosion by changing the standing wave feature of the wire electrode as a result of the composition of the lateral vibrations due to the forces of the erosion process with longitudinal vibrations resulting from the variation of the travel rate of the wire. The claimed device for carrying out the process is provided with a base plate (2) on which there is an electromagnetic system (3) whose operation determins the repeating movement of a lever (4) about an articulation (5), a bolt (6) located at the end of the lever (4) contributing to the repeated movement of another lever (7) about a bolt (8) integral with the base plate (2), while another bolt (9) integral with the lever (7) in the middle zone thereof determins a square-section rod (10) to perform a reciprocating motion within a guide consisting of some clamps (11) assembled to the base plate (2), a roller (12) being located at one end of the rod (10) and a wire electrod (1) being placed over the roller (12), as well as over another roller (13) whose shaft is integral with the base plate (2), the reciprocating motion of the rod (10) leading to a periodical change of the travel rate of the wire, within a predetermined range.</p> |
