Assembly for locating a motor vehicle pedal unit (30) in a mounting position in a mounting plane (23) of a mounting unit (20), prior to its final mounting. The arrangement comprises at least a lug (32, 38) on a first part of the pedal unit which engages with a corresponding recess (24, 26) in a second part of the pedal assembly. Either lug or recess has an elongated section to facilitate guidance of the pedal unit into its final mounting position. |
