A printing system for printing an image with ink activated with a liquid activator comprises a support for holding a sheet printed with the ink image and a cantilever comprising a mounting member and a projecting member extending from the mounting member to a distal end, an activator sprayer mounted to the projecting member and a reciprocator for shifting the sprayer back and forth so that the activator can be sprayed on the ink image with the activator sprayer while the support holds the ink image.
