The invention relates to a salt of a macrocyclic derivative of bis-indolmaleinimide of the formula : and to the corresponding solvates. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical formulation containing a salt of a macrocyclic derivative of bis-indolmaleinimide, to a process for prepaing the same and to the use thereof for inhibiting protein kinase C in mammals.
