<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for separating humidity in the steam turbines, upstream of a stage working in the wet steam area of a turbine. The process for separating humidity in the steam turbines consists in separating the humidity from the entire steam flow passing through the turbine, by locating a humidity separating apparatus (1), in a toroidal space (2), which occupies the entire axial flowing section between two successive turbine stages, the separation of drops being done inertially by alternatively deviating the wet steam stream, so that the water drops in the steam gather pelicularly, being then evacuated gravitationally. The apparatus for separating humidity in the steam turbines comprises a humidity separating apparatus (1) and it is delimited radially to the inner side by some tapered walls (5) and exteriorly by other taper walls (6), between them there being fixed two successive circular rows of radial separators (7 and 8). The radial separators (7 and 8) are made of curved sheet, having fixed on the output edge a pocket (9) made of U-shape bent thin sheet, through which the humidity pelicularly collected on the intrados, especially, and on the extrados, is directed gravitationally towards the ends where there correspond the orifices of some collecting channels, which futher evacuate the humidity, by free fall, towards the condenser or the tap in the neighbourhood to the turbine.</p> |
