A centering device, in particular for a probe measuring device (1) is disclosed. The centering device comprises a device support (3), defining a device axis (7), a support shaft (41), defining a shaft axis (43) and a centering mounting (45), holding the device support (3) with the device axis (7) parallel to the shaft axis (43), movable relative to the above, however, fixable to the support shaft (41). The centering mounting (45) is embodied as a parallelogram guide with a parallelogram guide region (59), arranged around the shaft axis (43) and the guide axis (47), running along said axes (7, 43), or as several of said regions. Said parallelogram guide can be integrally embodied as a one piece moulding with the support shaft (41) and/or the device support (3), which reduces the production complexity. Adjuster screws (69), distributed around the outside of the parallelogram guide, permit adjustment of the shaft axis (43) relative to the device axis (7).
