FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is dealing with refining of black lead to remove antimony, arsenic, and tin impurities. For that end, impurities are oxidized by stirring lead-alkali melt and simultaneously feeding oxygen at controlled flow rate 7-10 L/min.
