A 2-cyanoacrylate based composition comprising a coloring material which changes its color in response to the curing of 2-cyanoacrylate. The composition is colored and thus has good visibility and is excellent in workability before curing. After curing, it turns colorless or light- colored and provides an article having a good appearance in an adhered or filled portion of the surface of the article.
