A pilfer-proof cap that can be easily installed (fitted) on a bottle mouth when capping a bottle so that the capping capability of the cap is improved. Further, gripping capability of the cap with respect to the bottle mouth when opening the bottle is improved while buckling and/or collapse of a rising portion is prevented from occurring. A pilfer-proof cap is provided with a band portion at the lower end of a cap main body with a bridge portion between them. A rising portion that continuously extends inwardly and upwardly from the band portion is provided, and the rising portion has a portion with circular- arc cross section.
