A space winding device and a spacer winding method are disclosed, wherein there is no possibility of causing defects, such as abrasion of the surface of an electronic parts packaging film carrier tape, inner lead bending and damage and deformation of the electronic parts packaging film carrier tape so bending as to result in a crease. The reel unwinding drive shaft of an unwinding device is connected to a drive motor, and the winding drive shaft of a spacer winding device is connected to the motor through a clutch, whereby the spacer is wound under a constant tension.
