The mop has a framework including two plastic arms (2, 2`), and a button (12). A plate (4) in the button is pressed against the floor to introduce the arms into corresponding slots of a wiping unit so that the arms are co-planar during a working position of the mop. The button is pressed to turn the arms freely so that the arms lie at right angles to each other to squeeze out the wiping unit.
