A heat insulation material for agricultural and horticultural facility having a heat insulation layer formed of a resin base material containing particulate heat insulation fillers diffused therein. The heat insulation fillers are formed of a material selected from a group consisting of lanthanum hexaboride and antimony-added tin oxide. This heat insulation material for agricultural and horticultural facility has as the insulation index the solar transmittance of 10-80%, the visible light transmittance of 30-90%, and the light transmittance in the ultraviolet ray range of 5-80% at wavelength of 320 nm and 0-70% at wavelength of 290 nm. |
