PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the life of a bearing by preventing the intrusion of foreign matters from the outside and the leakage of lubricant from the inside when used under strict conditions. SOLUTION: The front edge of an inside seal lip 13a provided at the inner peripheral edge of a sealing seal 2a is put in slide contact with the whole periphery of a side wall face 16a on the inside out of a pair of side wall faces 16a, 16b constituting a seal groove 15 formed in the end outer peripheral face of an inner ring 6. The size of each portion is restricted to satisfy D/W<1, where W is the width of a sliding portion between the front edge and the side wall face 16a on the inside in the radial direction of the inner ring 6 and D is the maximum length of an adhesive matter produced on a portion of the side wall face with which the front edge is in slide contact, in the radial direction thereof.
