PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress kerosene consumption by consuming kerosene the amount of snowfalls. SOLUTION: This method comprises a step of opening a hot water supply opening/closing valve 8 by output of a timer or a snowfall detector or manual operation and flowing hot water of approximately 30-80°C into a static pressure water tank 5, a step of driving a water supply pump 4 when the hot water reaches a predetermined level and then feeding the hot water to a sprinkler head 2 through a water supply pipe 3 and sprinkling the hot water on the upper stream side of a downward flow regulation sheet, and a step of melting rapidly snow layers deposited on the downward flow regulation sheet by the hot water which spreads evenly and flows downward on the downward water regulation sheet 1 and stopping the driving of the water supply pump when the water level in the static pressure water tank reaches a lower limit. A unit cycle is determined as a cycle from the start of operation of the water supply pump to the stop of the operation thereof. This cycle is used once or repeatedly while counting the number of cycles with a counter means, and finally the remaining water in the static pressure water tank is discharged through opening/closing of a drain opening/closing valve 13 mounted at the lower part of the static pressure water tank.
