PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling cleaner which prevents cleaning from being performed in the state that a large amount of dust is stuck to a rotary brush by cleanly removing the dust stuck to the rotary brush at a prescribed timing. SOLUTION: The self-traveling cleaner 1 performs a dust removing processing of removing the dust stuck to the rotary brush by bringing a comb close to the rotary brush at the prescribed timing. In the dust removing processing, since the comb is slid in the direction of approaching the brush, even the dust stuck to the root of the rotary brush is removed, and the self-traveling cleaner which prevents cleaning from being performed in the state that the large amount of the dust is stuck to the rotary brush is provided.
